Non-toxic art supplies?

Thread Starter
Is there some kind of kit of art supplies that's eco-friendly and non-toxic and all that? I'm looking to buy in bulk for the year but haven't really found anything like that. I'll buy individually if necessary but it seems so expensive that way! Or are there any affordable individual supplies that anyone can recommend? I've looked at several online toy stores and it would still be quite a lot to buy paint, oil crayons, recycled paper, etc. individually. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places?

Have you looked at http://www.mercurius-usa.com/index.php?

A friend of mine buys from there and she loves it.

You might also take a look in Dick Blick's site - you can do a search with the term "non-toxic" and find quite a bit there. Here are their temperas. And here's a thread with some discussion on toxic considerations - Quality paint suggestions.

Stockmar! Beeswax crayons rock.
