My DS is almost 3 1/2. We did not co-sleep with him as an infant, but have been since roughly the end of summer as I was by myself with him and a baby and it was the only way to get him to sleep. But for the last several months, he will NOT go to bed without a fight. I am not talking about him going up by himelf even, or us leaving the room. I'm talking about us going to bed WITH him. Every night it is a fight-a complete temper tantrum that usually ends when we threaten to make him go to his own room if he can't calm down 
. He says he is not tired, when he is clearly exhausted.
DH and I never get any time to ourselves, but at this point we first just want to stop the screaming and fighting us that DS is doing. Please help with ideas!
