Were your previous kids born "early" or "late" and how big?

Just pure curiousity.

My first was born 4 days after EDD, 8lb2oz. My second was a day before EDD, 8lb9oz.

I am curious, too! Mainly b/c I'm fixin' to have *this* baby!

1st baby: morning of EDD, 7 lbs 3 oz
2nd baby: morning, 3 days before EDD, 6 lbs 14 oz

I want this baby to come ASAP! Baby, do you hear Mom?

I have just been thinking about this for a couple reasons. My first two kids were not planned, so I was very cycle ignorant. I knew they were long but I didnt really know what that meant. After tracking to TTC this babe, I got pretty good at pinpointing ovulation dates. I know realize that my last two kids EDD dates (because my cycles have always been uniform) were actual about a week "late" because they went from LMP vs O date. This time we went with known O date. So now I think that my first two were "actually" 3 days before true due date and second baby a week before true due date. So if that is the case, I am wondering if this baby will come "early". Granted, she could totally come at 43 weeks for all I know, lol.

And then I started having all of these dreams about her coming at like 37 weeks. I have them over and over.

Knowing that none of it really means anything, lol, it still has me thinking.

My daughter was born at 36 weeks, 7 lb 4 oz.

I'm curious as to whether this means I'll have this baby early, too. She was a good weight, very ready to come out with no problems breathing or anything, great APGARs and very healthy. (And yes, I am 100 percent sure of dates). I had ROM before labor started.

I figure because I'll be expecting this one to come at 36 weeks, it's going to come at 42 weeks.

But I'm packing the labor bag at 35 weeks anyway. Wish I had last time.

Ds was 3 days early and 9 lbs 13 oz.
Dd1 was 4 days early and 9lbs.
Dd2 was 1 day early and 8lbs 13oz.

All early, all big.

DD1: on her EDD 9lb. 3oz. (12 hr. labor)
DD2: 41 weeks & 6 days 10lb. (2 hr. labor)

I would loooove for this little one to come a little early, but who knows?

DD came at 43+1 weeks, 8lb 13oz. I'm really hoping that this one comes at least a little earlier, because it was incredibly stressful waiting that long, particularly trying to hold out for a HB.

Bjerme - you give me some hope that it's at least possible! That's a big difference though. Do you mind me asking if the second two kids have the same father as the first? (Very nosy I know , and ignore me if you don't feel like sharing, but I've heard that paternal genes can also influence length of gestation. Maybe I should have got pregnant by someone other than DH this time )

5: ??? I'm expecting him to arrive before his EDD, given the trend, but I wouldn't mind getting a little closer even than #4. Maybe only 4 or 5 days early.

#1 Born on his due date, 8 lbs 10 1/2 oz

#2 Born 2 weeks early, but on the day our US tech gave us about a month before he was born (lasst minute emergency "twins!?!?" : US), 8 lbs 5 oz

#1, DD, 10 days past her due date and 10lbs 4 oz
#2 DS, 8 days past his due date and 7lbs 7oz.

They have different dads, and DD's dad now has 5 nieces and nephews that were all in the 8-10lb range - big babies definitely run on his side .

#1 was 36w0 days - 6lbs 14 oz

#2 was 36w3 days - 7lbs 3oz

#3 was 36w3 days - 8lbs 1oz

I was positive of my dates on all babies and did not have GD. I never gained more than 15lbs. and was below my starting weight after each baby was delivered.

DD1: 40 weeks, 4 days-9 lbs 11 oz.
DD2: 41 weeks, 2 days-9 lbs 6 oz.
I charted with both so EDDs were accurate.
