Love your post.

My mother had her first child at 17 and was the best mother ever. (Love ya mom!)

I am feeling lonesome and discouraged tonight (DH in Afghanistan, kids cranky and suffering from the Februaries--crankiness, tiredness and moments of downright meanness to each other). Your post made me feel proud to be a mother. I hope I do as good a job as you have done. Relish every minute of your success.

I was about to log off for the night...I'm SO GLAD that I opened your post before I did! This gives me such a warm feeling in my heart. Well done mama!

I remember your first post- it made me cry. I replied on it that you are an inspiration and it is true, BOTH of you are.

Congrats to a proud, dedicated mama and her proud, dedicated son

Your posts make me cry. Your son should be very proud of himself and you should be very proud of both your son and yourself. There's no question that you did it and did it well. Congratulations.

I remembered your post from October... it made me cry... I went to re-read it, just because, and it made me cry again. It is such a wonderful and sweet story. I'm so happy to hear the wonderful news about your son. You sound very blessed to have each other.

As a side note, are you a writer? Because if you aren't, you should be. Your writing style is so interesting to read.

Congratulations to your son! Much luck in the years to come!

Thanks so much for posting this, as I am sitting here drowning in guilt because of what my ds and I have been through you give me hope that with perseverance anybody can come out "on the other side." You must be so proud of him AND yourself for doing such an incredible job as a mother!

ETA: I just went back and read your original post in October and it made me cry. It's so comforting to know that children remember the good times and the small things and not the struggles. I'm so glad things got better for you all.

The OP made me cry, and Im not even joking.

Everytime I start to feel sorry for myself, I will think of what an inspiration you and your son are, and snap myself out of it. You made it through Hardships I will never know, I can make through another cold/snotty nose/sleepless night.

Congrats to you both! I remember your post from OCT. They both filled me with both tears and joy.
