Is there a nightlight in your toddlers room?? - Page 2

Ds sleeps in our room & we have a light on the baby monitor (it actually does turn off but we always leave it on). He still wakes up through the night & I like to be able to see if he is nursing & sleeping or nursing & staring at me. Plus, I keep hoping when he wakes up before we come to bed he might see his sippy cup, drink some water & go back to sleep all on his own!

We have a nightlight in DD/DS's room. It was a safety issue for us. DD gets disoriented in the dark and was walking into walls. She also pulled over a heavy board that leans against the wall behind thier bedroom door one night, causing a big crash and a lot of racing hearts! She wasn't hurt, but she thought it was her door, so she was pulling on it. She has always been a frequent night waker and it is just easier on everyone if she can come quietly and climb into bed with us when she needs to.
