liver hiding success!!

just wanted to let you know. I had great sucess hiding small cut up peices of chicken liver in beans and rice. it's not much, but it's some. (it is visible, but you can't taste it.) I probably could have hidden more as well. (chicken liver, not sure about beef.) I put it in to cook with the rice.

That sounds yummy . . but I like liver. My dh eats so fast he probably wouldn't notice it either.

Do you just cook it with the beans and rice?

I cooked the beans with some seasonings then added the rice and the liver and cooked it in the remaining liquid from cooking beans

Recently, my farmer has been adding value by adding the organs to his ground beef packs already. I think it makes the ground beef taste even better, the flavor is great, to me!

oh that's really cool. I'd love it to buy ground meat with the organ meat already in it.

I know right? He' been doing a bang up job of keeping us, his demanding clientele, happy, lol. I'll miss him when i move later this summer.
