Where do you get yours? And how much do you pay?

I have been using some from the health food store. It is unrefined sold in baggies for 2.50/lb. It says unrefined sea salt from the "ancient sea" containing 50+ nutrients including iodine. I do feel better using it, but how do I now it doesn't have contaminants??

Is is better to use celtic sea salt? Is there a place to find it cheaper than amazon? It looks a lot more expensive.

I get mine at Trader Joe's... French Coarse Sea Salt (unrefined) and I think it's somewhere between $3.49 and $4.99 for 16 oz.

ETA: Sorry... it's 15 oz. It used to be $3.49 a few years ago, but I know it's about $5 now. It could be $4.49 or $5.49 or somewhere around there. I grabbed the jar from the pantry and it says it's from "the pollution free Isle of Noirmoutier, off the Atlantic coast of France."

I pay 5 dollars a pound for celtic sea salt. we go through it so fast that I'm looking into buying a 20 or 30 pound bag, hopefully at a better price.
