Joining up with you ladies.
I had an early loss in Nov 09 at approx 5-6 weeks. It was hard because it was probably the most planned baby we've had - we'd timed dtd so that we'd conceive a boy, etc. But as others have said, I had a "feeling" and wasn't totally surprised when I started bleeding. I lost pregnancy symptoms about a week before bleeding started. The hardest part was telling everyone....my mil was awesome during that rough time - she's had 4 m/c and was over here looking after my kids, making meals and doing my housework. I really love her.
I have more pregnancy symptoms this time, am definitely more tired/smell sensitive, but am still cautious. I can't believe how cavalier I was during my first 3 pregnancies (which all were fine) - not that I did anything foolhardy, but I definitely took a healthy pregnancy for granted. My mom had 4 kids with no m/c, so although she was sad for me, she couldn't relate in that same way.
We aren't going to tell our kids we're pregnant for a few more weeks...my dh remembers his mom telling him about one of her m/c when he was about 6 and being really freaked out about it. But you'd think my kids know already...my ds (almost 4) is obsessed with pregnant bellies and my two dds are baby crazy right now.
I'm very glad to have this thread. I'm hoping and praying for sticky beans for us all.
