please reassure me about HPTs...

I had a chemical pg last cycle, and I am so so nervous about losing this pregnancy as well. Please remind me that home pregnancy tests are not really a good diagnostic for how much hcg is in my body. Today's test was very similar to yesterday's, not substantially darker like I was hoping. I'm trying to remind myself that my urine might have been differently diluted, that the test might have had a different amount of dye, etc etc, and that I'm not going through the same thing as last month where the tests didn't really get darker and then got lighter and lighter. I won't have my repeat beta numbers until Monday, so I really need some way of reassuring myself and relaxing because I am freaking out a bit...

Here's the comparison of the three tests: http://canyouseealine.com/view_home_...fm?testID=6162

The top is 11dpo, middle is 12dpo, and bottom is 13dpo (today).

Please please talk some sense into me and/or reassure me...

I think it looks A LOT darker, and it's a lot darker than any FRER I had for this pregnancy- and here I am 14w1d. Good luck! and Congratulations!

The bottom one is today, 13dpo. Thanks for the reassurance

That looks really good to me and a good progression esp for only 13dpo. During my last pregnancy and miscarriage my FRER was much lighter on 12dpo and barely got visible. I only ended up with 56 blood HCG and still got a fainter line than the one you have at 13dpo.

I think they look really good, getting darker for sure. I'm in the same boat as you, I had a chemical before having DD so I know the stress that brings in subsequent pregnancies. I've been peeing on sticks every day to make sure they are still positive, and getting darker. I won't be getting beta's either, so my home chemistry tests are all I have to go by. I just can't stop myself! (plus I have a big stock of IC's that need to be used up )

LOL Stitches about the box of ICs to use up! I was so bad yesterday -- I had the $2 off mfg coupon and the $1 off coupon from the FRER box, so I went to Target and bought 3 more FRERs I do get betas done, but I have to wait until Monday to get the next result back, so POAS is holding me over...and driving me crazy at the same time!

LOL! I did the same thing yesterday... though I was looking for a digital FRER. They didn't have them at the store I went to.

I am new around here but I just wanted to say that I also had a chemical last month and all of your tests look way darker than any of mine ever did. The one you took today looks beautiful and looks darker than yesterday to me. You look to have some nice little lines on your hands!!

AF is not due until Wed for me and I am about 6 or 7 dpo but I think I am going to wait a few days after AF is due to test so I will see a nice dark line.

Another thing that comes to mind is that with all my tests with my chemical it took at least 6-8 before it started showing the most faint line and I was not really sure it was a line until about the 9-10 min mark. So to me even if your lines are faint if they are showing up in the first 3-5 mins I think that is a good sign too. Hope that makes sense

Those are definitely progressing nicely! I also had a chemical last cycle, and my lines got lighter each day--nice BFP on 11dpo, then lighter and lighter through 14 dpo, and then I started bleeding on the day af was due 2 days later, got a bfn the next day. Your lines look nice and dark for dpo. I know HPT's are not quantitative, but it seems like there should be some type of progression, and yours have that for sure. Congratulations! I hope the same thing happens to me this cycle!!!

to you 3boobykins and avasmom! I didn't think this would be my month, but it can definitely happen!
