Overnight with Pocket Diapers

Sorry if this is a repeated question.

Background:
Currently, we are using one regular disposable diaper at overnight so as not to have to do a diaper change. DD has not come anywhere near filling it. She was using prefolds before. One wouldn't leak, but it was too wet for her to go back to sleep. We've switched to pockets during the day.

Question:
How should we stuff the diaper for overnight? Do you think two hemperoos would be enough?

I'd like some advice before I start experimenting. We don't have extra sheets for a middle of the night change.

Depends on how much your baby pees. We have had good luck with using one mf insert (closest to the surface) and 2 hemp inserts (like the hemparoos).

My ds1 is out of diapers now and for ds2 we usually use a fitted with a doubler right now, but pockets have worked for us, too.

If the PF can hold everything from overnight, then I'd stuff the pocket with the PF.

Have you thought about using micro terry instead? I find these really wick away the moisture from the baby better than hemp- which seems to have that wet feel on the skin. My micro terry inserts are made of three layers, and for nights, I double them (my toddler is a heavy wetter).

I did this last night. No leaks. All three were soaked in the morning. The poly fleece diaper lining felt wet, though. During the day, the lining still feels dry even if the insert is wet. Is this an unrealistic expectation for overnight?

When my son was nursing at night, I used a fuzzi bunz stuffed w/ a fuzzi bunz insert plus a hemp insert (babykicks i think?). NOw that he doesnt nurse at night, I use a regular bumgenius pocket stuffed with the regular microfiber insert.

I use a FB stuffed with 2 inserts and a mircofiber auto towel. It's the trimmest solution that works for us for my very heavy wetter.

We use pockets at night for our 20 month old and use a regular micro terry insert and then use a Super Do Hemp Terry Insert. Riley can go all night, no leaks at all- 13 hours. Hands down we have never had a leak.

We use a Fuzzi Bunz one size, with both of the inserts that come with it. We've never had a leak, and dd doesn't really seem bothered by the wet. Her diaper does feel wet in the morning though, and weighs, seriously, two pounds. She's a big night nurser though.
Even though I feel sort of embarassed to admit it, if I'm getting her dressed for bed anymore than about 20 minutes before I know she's going to be sleeping, I will put a disposable on her. If it's earlier, and I put a thin diaper on her, it never fails that she's asleep in my arms by the time I realize that she's not in a night time diaper, and then what do you do!? Wake the kid up to fix the problem? I think not!
I need to get a bit of fleece to make some liners - apparently it helps keep things drier against the skin.

If ds goes all night without being changed, it does feel wet by morning. I have better luck with suedecloth or wicking jersey, but even they feel wet by morning. However, I also noticed that sposies feel wet by morning too. His skin is damp feeling with all of them.
But if I change him in the middle of the night, the sc and wj still feel dryish, so I'm guessing it doesn't start to feel damp until much closer to morning.

I use bumGenius and stuff it with the thinner newborn soaker and a 4x8x4 prefold. Bulky, yes. Effective, yes.
