Least annoying exersaucer?

Thread Starter
I'm thinking of getting a "stationary entertainer" for our daughter to use for short periods of time while we're making dinner etc. They are all these huge plastic garish things... Anybody have any suggestions of more toned down ones or at least a favorite amongst the garish ones?
Thanks !!

We just used a jolly jumper. Takes up MUCH less room & kept ds very happy for the 10 or so minutes I would put him in it at a time.

we have the evenflo exersaucer mega - farmyard one - couple plastic animals, no lights/noise/batteries required!

So we bought the baby einstein one...the nice thing is it breaks down easily and slides under a bed or into a closet! We looked on craigslist and only paid $20, tags still on, good as new!

we have the evenflo with the "medieval" theme... there is one battery op toy (a button that plays a trumpet fanfare) but it's so quiet you have to be right on top of it to hear it. It folds "flat" with a handle, which is nice, and has adjustable height. We got it second hand... you can often find saucers/jumpers for under 10 dollars in great condition, so maybe check recalls and then visit a children's thrift outlet? Sometimes the annoying-but-useful toys are less annoying if they don't cost as much.

Oh, here's ds in his saucer... there are a few more pics that are close ups but this one sort of gives a feel for how the saucer fits in the room.

That's a good point! Many saucers now make it easy to swap out the "toys". Maybe visit Target or Amazon to get a feel for that sort of accessory? If you find a saucer saize/color that works you may be able to remove toys or replace them with less "busy" items.

I think they are all pretty annoying but my little guy likes his so I tolerate it.
