Why is Unisom bad?

Anyone have any info on why Unisom ( doxylamine succinate) is contraindicated while breastfeeding? I took it a handful of times for pregnancy induced nausea without thinking to check its lactation status and I'm currently nursing a 2.5 year old. I searched the 2006 version of Hale's online and it stated that its L4 but didn't give a clear explanation why (and it listed the wrong pregnancy category for it). Does the age of the nursing child impact its safety at all?

I'm sure at least part of the reason is because it's an antihistamine so it'll tend to dry your milk up. Other than that, I don't know.
