I have some of both. My BG are 2.0s so there may be some improvements on the new ones but here's my opinion.
When i got my BG I loved them. My ds was a little older so we never used them for the smallest size but I thought they were great. After a couple of months I was still in love! But the aplix tabs started not sticking so well or collecting tons of lint from everywhere, not sticking to the laundry tabs etc. I still used them when DD was born but they were not my go to diaper. I did order the replacement tabs but I have yet to put them on. I have other diapers that are just as old and no problems at all with the velcro so I have decided it's a BG thing and they are not my favorite.
The FB I have are great, very trim fitting and I love the snaps. Not only do they not collect lint but baby can not open them easily. Unfortunately DH can't figure out how to snap them. So I keep the BG in the rotation for him. I have some FB that lasted a lot longer than others. I have "perfect size" FB so i don't know about the one size. But the smalls still fit my DD at almost 8 months and she's not tiny, I expect the mediums to fit her through potty learning.
If I had to pick one o the other I'd go with FB for sure. HTH!

the annoying thing about fb is elastic failure. we air dry our fb (and don't bleach)...so far so good. BG can also have elastic failure. (I have only seen the 2.0) The One Size fb has easy-to-replace elastic and comes with an extra set ... a good product if Target has it.
I have freshened BG velcro with a knitting needle - it does collect lint but the lint is fairly easy to remove. The loop part of the velcro can get horribly wonky on bg 2.0, I am not sure how many washes those dipes had been through!

I have a couple FB in each size.....my son outgrew the rise quickly.
We have about 20 BG pockets.
I have replaced the elastic in both my FB and BG, and converted my BG to snaps b/c the velcro wore out.
IMO, go with BG, they fit better, but get snaps. And watch the price., I wouldnt use the giftcard at target if they are overpriced. I heard BG 3.0 pockets seconds are on sale at cottonbabies.com for $12 w/ insert right now.,

I'd go with the Fuzzi Bunz. I have some in medium and some in the one size. Strangely, the mediums seem larger than the one size diapers. My child developed a rash everytime he was in a bumGenius diaper. Every single time. When I took those out of rotation, the rash went away. I haven't had any problems with the FB, but I have only been using them about a year so maybe the elastic problems people talk about just haven't hit us yet. I did have problems with the elastic not sticking on the BG diapers after only a short while. In theory, I like velcro better, but I have yet to find a velcro diaper that I really like as much as FB diapers.

I actually decided tonight to use it for my moby wrap!A friend gave me the gift of making me 3 cloth diapers at my shower and all the sudden people are blessing me with ways to get cloth diapers. This is a major answer to prayer.I may try the seconds though they sound wonderful.
