Cervix smoother than normal? Trying to chart it...need help :)

Ok.. so I've been checking my cervix daily this cycle, and am having a hard time getting a hang of all the differences. Yesterday and today though, i'm noticing a very big difference in the texture of my cervix. I normally have bumps on my cervix but last night and this night my cervix is VERY smooth, almost like it is engorged??

I'm on day 18, had a positive OPK Thurs, but am still reading only high on my fertility monitor.

Please help, it's a huge difference and I don't know what to make of it.

well the texture of it does not matter much, did it change hardness in between? Like when it was more rough it was also a bit more firm and now its softer?

I can't really tell.. I guess its softer?, but the it always has bumps on it, so for it to change, and only in one day.. must mean something?

ok, gonna take a stab in the dark on this one.

some women can have bumps on their t-zone or transformation zone where the tissue of the inside of the cervix joins with the outside of the cervix. they are called something like nabolthian or nabothian....cysts maybe or nabothian follicles. i think it's something you see more in younger women that eventually goes away. like little pimples. i remember them from years ago when i worked in a colposcopy clinic. if that's what they are, they tend to come and go through the month with hormone fluctuations, and i dont think they really have any significance. you might want to phone into your hcp and double check on it at some point. if it were me, i would, just to be sure. i think it's a less common variation of normal, but i dont want to tell you the wrong thing. as far as texture, like maeryn said, when it's soft, it feels like a big fat lip, and when it's firm, it's more like your nose, medium maybe feels like a chin.
