I see that the almost universal solution among US mamas for really stinky nappies is to use Tide. I had awful trouble with stinky cloth nappies last time around (using Ecover) and tried all the usual tactics - stripping, even bleach once (but I was afraid of degrading the covers) etc. and the smell just kept coming back.
I'd like to avoid the stinky nappy problem this time around, and was wondering if there's a European equivalent to Tide? A generally available detergent that just keeps the stinkiness at bay? Anyone come across a brand that really works?
