That's exactly how mine was for the last 2-3 weeks. It lasted until about 5.5 weeks PP. I barely even needed a pantiliner the last week, it was just there when I wiped.

almost 8 wks pp and that is where I am now FINALLY

after dd, i bled for about 1.5w continuously, and another 1.5w on and off. ds1, i bled for about 1.5w continuously, and another 4w on and off. i'm 5w post-partum now. i bled for about 5 days, and then had no bleeding for 5 days, and then on and off, very light for 2 more weeks. i haven't seen any blood for at least 1.5w now. i hope its done, and that AF doesn't rear her ugly head any time too soon.

Think I'm finally finished now, at 4.5 weeks PP. But interesting about everyone having night sweats - cos I have having those BAD and I totally didn't realise it was a common PP thing. They seem to have died down quite a bit now too. Totally agree with the PPs re the smells - at one point I said to DF - we're going to have to wash these sheets today, last night they had blood, milk, sweat, baby sick and baby wee on them. I hadn't realised before just how many bodily fluids there were!!!

OMG! That! Our sheets are heinous! I've got all the bedding in the washer for the second time in four days, and in the intervening nights I was just piling receiving blankets and changing pads on top of the grossest spots. Naaaaassstty!
