My turn came!

Thanks to my buddy Nicole for updating for me! I went into labor at 2 am this morning, arrived at the hospital at 9 cm at 7:30, but didn't feel pushy until around 11:30, baby born at 12:39. The pushing was really tough and painful, but I'm glad I did it!
He's not with me tonight because of issues with his breathing (he inhaled fluid on the way out) but I did get to kangaroo him this evening and will hopefully begin nursing tomorrow.
He's beautiful and looks just like his sister at birth.

Congrats! I had been thinking of you and hoping things went well! He has quite the head of hair! How much did he weigh? I hope you can snuggle with him soon!!!

Thank you! He's 9 lbs 5 oz. I had no idea he'd be so big! And I'm totally in love with his hair. I have always had a thing for hairy babies and really wanted both of mine to have hair, and they did!
