GSE for thrush

Hi

I am a tandum nursing mom of a 2 month old ad 2 year old. My 2 month old has had thrush (oral) for over a month now and we have had 3 rounds of Nystatin. It seems to go away and then comes back. He has GERD and vomits when we give it to him. I would like some info about the use of Grapefruit seed extract to treat thrush. Anyone have some advice or experience?

We had great success with GSE and nystatin only made it worse. I took it internally, but what really helped was swabbing DS's mouth before each feeding and swabbing my nips afterward.

I mixed up a solution of Distilled water and GSE and swabbed it in babies mouth and my nips before each feeding and then cleaned my nips with it after each feeding.
Make sure you are getting your bras clean too. I would alternate between boiling them and soaking in vinegar and I would always hang to dry in the sun.
I also made sure to get a good probiotic to help balance things out.
