TF and ADHD

Thread Starter
Has anyone switched to a traditional diet to help a child with ADHD? Has it helped? Will your child actually eat all the different food recommendations? What are their favorites?

DD7 was diagnosed with ADHD and while we are keeping things at bay with cod liver oil and portions of the feingold diet I was wondering if TF would work with more results.....

Anyway any thoughts or suggestions would be great.

I don't know about TF, but a lot of people have had great results with GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome by Natasha Campbell McBride). It is a healing diet with TF but more restrictive.

My ds does nto have ADHD but exhibits behavioral/sensory issues after eating casein and gluten.

Protein and fat really help him feel better, and we follow a GF/CF Traditional Foods diet.

HTH!
