The Fabulous ONE Thread ~ **Feb 28th-March 6th** - Page 14

Just dropping in to say hi.

Took my first dose of Clomid last night. AF should be finishing up today. We are going to be able to have great timing. I am super hopeful. Just hanging out, keeping busy with school, and trying to show my husband I can be superwoman haha. On that note, I am going to go make a nice big breakfast now.

I'm better now. I went foodshopping and picked up RRL tea, a huge thing of ginger, and some chocolate covered pretzels. Ready for and cycle 7 {{sigh}}.

Finnegansmom - it sounds like you might have had a chemical. I hope you get some answers soon.

CLH - any news??

Krista - LP spotting can sometimes mean a progesterone deficiency, but not always. I have it (every month! ) and have had several blood tests, all indicating that all my hormones are normal.

Stevi - you're dating 3 different guys? I remember those days. Have fun!

Rochelle - how is your doc monitoring your clomid? Or are you just taking it w/o having to deal with sonos and IUIs? My doc mentioned I might need a "teeny dose" and that it might help eliminate my mid-LP spotting, but I admit I'm hesitant.

out of the game ... not surprised since i never felt a single system this 2ww. I guess i shoudl be happy that I can read my body so well. I am SO GLAD I was charting so that I knew 2 days before that AF was on the way.

other than that, not much bright side ... lots of travel coming up, but hoping to sneak in enough bd at hte right time.

Hi Ladies~

Well I am now on CD 10... started taking my OPK's again...it's kindof weird getting ready to O again....not sure what else to say...it's just like am I REALLY *here* again??!! Ugh. This time I am gonna be so apprehensive to get excited about any of it. Stinks how having miscarriages can totally suck the life and fun out of having a baby.

Kingsdaughter76 - It doesnt seem fair that you have to go through this rollercoaster again. My fingers are crossed for you this cycle.

DivineMrsM- Sorry AF is a cow!! Glad youre feeling better and prepared for the next round.

AFM: Confused as all hell!! Thought i was Oing and havent yet?? Im CD17 so what was with the positive OPK 3 days ago and why am I only getting high on my monitor?? Argh i thought my body was finally going to act normal!
Anyone wish to interpret my crazy chart??

I posted this morning with personals .... but that post seemed to have been eaten by the messaging board dragons. Anyway, wanted to pass along some to those who need them, esp to TheDivineMM and Shy.

My temps came back up just a bit this morning and I've been freaking exhausted all day, even to the point of taking a nap (and I am NOT a nap person). I think I dreamt of a miscarriage. I'm feeling kinda sad, scared and unsettled by it. Unfortunately my 11 month old didn't let me sleep long enough to really know what happened in the dream ... I can't figure out if it was a good sign that I dreamt about being pregnant or a bad sign that I possibly dreamt about losing it.

Dana ~ I like your chart. for you this morning. It's looking for.

Mumma CK ~ I would give it another day for crosshairs. Do you continue to take OPKs until they go negative? I always do myself, only because when I first started using them I was nursing so I could get a few day of surges. One month I kept getting +opks, and it was annoying the crap out of my husband because it was the world series and the red sox were in it, LOL. I was freaking out, but tested twice a day and finally I got a -, the temp surge the day AFTER the first negative confirmed O and that was the cycle I got pregnant with my second. I've read the older you get you longer you can surge, not surge how old you are but I'm in my late 30s.

Shy ~

SimplyRochelle ~ Good luck this month.

Divine ~ again. I have a pint of chocolate fudge brownie ice cream waiting for me in the freezer.

Karma ~ How are you? BFP? AF?

CLH~ We miss you!

Stevi ~ Have fun on your dates! I haven't been out alone with my husband on a date in a LONG LONG time.

MIDawn ~ Thank you for that link. Could too much estrogen be caused by eating soy? I know soy is linked with estorgen and I eat. a. lot. of soy. Always have. I'm a veg, I know I need to address the soy comsumption issue in this household. Ugh. My kids love soy milk.

AFM ~ I woke up this morning still not bleeding after 24 hours at all. Temp up. Took an IC, and it was BFN. Went out with my inlaws and started bleeding and feeling crampy just like AF. Definately bleeding now, and it's weird. Not to be TMI but not a ton of blood but clotty like post partum bleeding. Nothing a beer and hanging out with the kids by the fire pit couldn't make better. Would you count the 2 days of spotting as last cycle? I like today as CD 1, it makes my LP 11 days instead of 9.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I should be doing work in the house, we are renovating the house and we have SO MUCH TO DO but I kind of feel like bailing on all that.

12dpo AND STILL BFN COME ON!!! ARGGG

I still have hope and i swear i feel preggo but i guess since i got bfn on a first response that is supposed to tell you 6 days BEFORE your period i shouldn't feel so hopeful.

Divine---I pay for everything out of pocket so I keep going back and forth between how much monitoring I am actually going to get. I just go to a local OB and they normally don't do monitoring. And we are not having IUI's. I am just trying to listen to my body and it's comforting to know that if I felt like I had a problem that I would most likely be able to get in the same day. I have two cycles worth of Clomid right now and I am very hopeful that one of those times it will work as planned and by our anniversary in May (3 years! and ttc the whole time!), we'll have a little more to celebrate.

all quiet on the southern front. no bfp. no af. just ttc purgatory. not wasting any more tests tho. dpo 15. just waiting.

michelle- i would count today as cd1 for you.

Yes. If you already have thyroid issues, soy should be eaten in moderation because it can be a factor. (if you don't have thyroid issues, it's usually not a problem.) But I guess in your case, you might try "better safe than sorry..."
