Diarrhea Day 7 - Parasites? Help!

I had posted about having frequent watery diarrhea that I thought was brought on by eating some bad bacon. Today is day 7, and I have seen no real improvement. I am 5-6 weeks pregnant. I am now suspecting parasites. 20 years ago I came home from an extended stay in central America with very similar symptoms. I was never diagnosed for a specific parasite, but given the drug most often used by doctors to wipe it out (can't remember the name). I have not done and serious parasite cleanse.
Does anyone have any experience with this? I am doing what I can to stay hydrated, but I am worried about nutrients and the pregnancy. I am able to eat enough, but it goes right through me, literally.
Is it time to go get stool tests? Any other explanation besides parasites?

I had bacterial food poisoning last summer. After 4 days of continuing and worsening diarrhea I went to the doctor and got antibiotics. The bacteria was not clearing its self the way regular food poisoning usually will and I was getting progressively worse each day. I knew it was food poisoning because of the severe cramps in my tummy too. Do you have cramps or just the diarrhea?

As for parasites, I don't know much about them. Thankfully we haven't had to deal with any.

I had cramping in the first couple days, but none since. I have lots of nausea, but That could be the pregnancy... No fever either, just the trots. Bacteria is still a possibility...

Pork does carry stuff. However, it wasn't undercooked, right? Just went bad? I'd see a doctor given the pregnancy. You're still within the possibility of a viral stomach bug days wise..they can last 10 days. But that it started when you ate bad meat would make me want to get checked out.

The bacon is the only suspect thing I ate, and it's tough to tell, there were some chewy parts, not all crispy...
I spoke to a friend who is an emergency room doc, he said no worries as long as I stay hydrated. I will call my midwives tomorrow for a referral to a local DO, DH and I don't have a GP here yet...
I was finally able to get some homeopathic arsenicum today and I swear I felt better within a half hour. Until tomorrow its bone broth, clay, kefir, the arsenicum, and lots of time to read...
