My best friend, fertility friend, we set off together
It’s cd 1, my pal, we’re more hopeful than ever.
You're going to help me this month, this I sure know
I even sprung for the VIP version, so let’s go!
I wake, I roll over, quietly stick in the therm,
But the darn beep is so loud, dh is starting to squirm.
Hmm, is that egg white or semen, I cannot decide,
If only i had ‘Toni’ here to advise.
We'll baby dance on schedule till the fertile window is done
I fondly recall when we used to do this for fun. *sigh*
Up out of bed too soon, his swimmers head for my knees,
Think I can I push them back in if they escape when I sneeze?
O epo, hso, opk, bbt
I even think in the lingo of trying to conceive
Please, pretty please, no crosshairs today,
Not after the weekend DH was away!
Now why on earth are my temps not up?
Must have been that sleep interuption to let out the pup.
Wait, what do I see, is it an implantation dip?
Will this be the month I give dreaded Auntie the slip?
Stalking my chart, this cycle looks better than the rest,
It’s only 7 dpo, but where’s that last dollar store test?!
My temps still creep up, triphasic any day?
O my joy, I just know, my bfp’s on the way.
I’m tired, feel awful, my bb’s are sore,
Yippee! That will increase my ‘early pregnancy signs’ score!
I pee on a stick, but there is nothing to see
'cept a snowy white spot where the second pink line should be
Oh what kind of ‘friend’ would torture me this way,
I want my sticky bean, and I want it today!
