mia? why don't you invest in one or two delicious smelling essential oils to add your washing routine. I just drop a few drops in my nettle/vinegar rinse, and my hair smells sweet and fresh ( depnds on the flavor of course!) patcholi might be nice, or clove, or sweet orange, i like rosemary, lemon and lavender combined as well!
i am trying to only wash once a week , and last night was the night. I used an egg, and then a nettle/vinegar rinse, and it worked pretty well, but still a bit greasy :s...hrm...the only remark SO made was *scrunched up nose* "i HATE the smell of vinegar..."
i guess i might have to wash when he's not around..LOL!
so i guess this is...day...gosh...um...don't know...10ish or so...
i'm wondering how oatmeal water would do in hair for a nice conditioning rinse... it is espeically moisturizing to skin, and combats itchiness....sooooo...i think it wuold be good.
i'm thinking of trying by making an extra thin/watery batch of oatmeal, then straining out the oats (eat them or bake with them) and saving the leftover goopy water sans oats to rinse into my hair. i'll let you all know how it goes ...probably do it this weekend.
of course you can put the recipie for the face cleanser up. I really like it...i've been using it for about 2-3 months exclusively, no more soap on the face, and it looks great ( my face that is)
now if only i could wean myself from soap on the bod...bike grease and dust storms on the bike make me think i'm gonna need soemthing soapy to clean up though...
