Vitamin K compound

Ladies,

I am 35 weeks along and I am looking into the vitamin K compound alternative to the shot. This is current practice in France but I dont know who to ask here...the midwife? the hospital? or the ped? Any idea?

Oral vit K? Ask your ped. It's extremely uncommon where I am. There is a ped here who gives the shot vit K orally.

ask a pharmacist in France they will know if there is an oral vitamin K for babies available there- if you have a ped then you could ask her/him--
