Have any of you experienced this? I started a fairly serious change in diet (that I intend to continue) two weeks ago. I've had a fairly regular cycle, but am now 5 days late for AF. I took a pregnancy test, which was negative, and I feel bloated and PMS-y as all get out (on top of that, dh and I did dtd unprotected the night before AF was due- which was now almost a week ago- so we've both been a bit concerned) Anyway- could a big dietary change (big drop in total calories) cause this? If so, does that necessarily mean that my new diet is inherently unhealthy, or is it more a factor of just the big change? I feel like I'm eating such healthier food, and have been really proud of myself for changing my snack habits, etc.- but the past several days I have been very tired, etc., and that on top of the missed period are making me wonder if I should lighten up a little. Any thoughts or resources would be appreciated.

I've got no idea how what my caloric intake was before-- probably well over 2000 many days since I ws in the habit of baking cookies, etc. often. I don't count calories now, but am probably hovering between 1000-1500. I'm fairly overweight, so it feels like a good change, but I'm just concerned because I've rarely been this late ever. Had another negative pg test. May call the nurseline and see what they have to say.
