Wool---interlock or knit, what's your fave?

Now that I have a toddling baby (notice I'm not ready to call her a toddler just yet! ) I'm wondering about the durability of various wool. I really love wool and am wondering how well knit longies and shorties hold up to the running around vs. interlock. The one pair of longies I knit her are pretty pilly and beat up just from her crawling about the house but I think that has more to do with my knitting skills and the yarn I choose. Maybe not...what do you like best for durability? There are so many cute choices!!

I always seem to accidentally felt most of my hand knit woolies. And that's so aggravating because they take me so long to make! I'm very happy with my interlock soakers.

I have some interlock soakers, but for longies/shorties I perfer knit. I think interlock shorties/longies are too scratchy.

I like both. If you can find good interlock pants then they are great (soakers too). We absolutely loved the Sustainablebabyish interlock pants and they were very soft on his sensitive skin. They do hold up a little better when they are crawling and moving around.
I love the knit because of the variety of looks you can get.
Both worked well for us though.

Pilling is determined by the type of wool - so pick a different type of wool. I asked this question a little while back on the yarn crafts board, if you want to check out the recommendations.

I like interlock for wraps, but for pull-ons I've stuck to knit so far.

Thanks mamas! I ended up buying some used interlock pants to try from diaper swappers. I got some good deals and the pants are thick and wonderful. I'm going to look into different yarns for longies at well. I'm a bit shocked at the prices people want for used knit longies... I'll be knitting my own! If only I was a faster knitter
