This was my first time actually seeing this opera and it was the Met in HD one in November.
HATED IT!
Ok yes, Nessun Dorma is a great song. Yes the production was wonderful, the sets glorious. But really Princess Turandot is evil and Calaf has no honor as far as I'm concerned. This is the first opera that I actually couldn't stand.
I had to cleanse my eyes and ears with Lucia di Lammermoor after that LOL
