Have you always lived in Indiana?

Did you have your dogs before or after you had children; if before, how did they react to the new addition(s)?

What were your first two births like? What has made you choose a homebirth this time around?
oh, another Indiana mom Where are you at? I'm outside of Monticello.
What would you like to be different about this birth than you other two?

What do you and DH like to do together with out kiddos?

Do you have a lot of family around to help you out with babysitting and such?

Do you have any friends that are pregnant right now too?

Have you told everyone you are pregnant yet or are you waiting?

Okay that's all for now...

are your daughters excited about the new baby?

are you going to have a midwife or do unassisted homebirth?

how have you been feeling thus far (morning sickness, tiredness)?

Besides 2 years spent living in Minneapolis from the age of 18-20, yep, been here my whole life.

We got our first dog when dd1 was 18 months old and we got our second dog a year ago in April. Our first dog didn't have a noticeable reaction when dd2 arrived

When i was pregnant with dd1 i didn't know anything about anything. I was under the assumption that unless you were Amish the hospital with an epidural was the way that you did it. I laboured with dd1 in the hospital with an OB for 10 hours and 45 minutes of pushing. It wasn't a "bad" experience but i knew it didn't feel right to me.

With dd2 i had another hospital birth, this time with a CNMW. I was in lalbour (mostly in my back) for 4 hours and pushed for 10 minutes. Again the experience wasn't "bad" but still didn't feel right.
I cried several times because I just wanted to take my baby home and be with my family not stuck in the hospital.
Our plan is for this to be our last little one and by golly if i'm not going to get it right the 3rd time around

I am about 10 minutes from Notre Dame and might I add that i am thoroughly enjoying the sunshine even if it is in between vomiting sessions!

Holy Moly

Having a beautiful homebirth and staying for away from the hospital!

We love to go on roadtrips, nature walks, the park, theirs been lots of tubing this winter, i LOVE reading with the girls, cooking

Both sets of grandparents love to take the girls for us and have been super great about that since i've been sick. We are very lucky to have them!

My sister is pregnant with her first right now, she's due any day now! I also have another friend who is due in late July.

We have only told a handful of friends so far, we will let the cat out of the bag as soon as we have our first MW appointment and hear that beautiful heartbeat

DD1 is very excited and DD2 doesn't really grasp it and we haven't pushed the info with her to much. I think once i start showing it will be easier to talk with her about what is going on.

I am having a MW, although an unassisted homebirth has crossed my mind more than once!

I have been feeling like utter poo! All day nausea, plenty of daily vomit sessions, super tired but have a hard time sleeping for more than 4 hours at night and some headaches here and there.....first trimesters are not my friend, lol! i just remind myself that it will all be worth it!

I love to be outside, read, see live music, yoga, go to museums and hang out with family and friends while eating yummy food....SO glad the m/s will be over before grilling season is upon us!

We do all of the above as a (except yoga) family as well as camping, bowling, going to the beach, playing board games, hmmm....we love picking fruit when the season is right!

What kind of doggies do you have?

Why did you choose those names for your pups?

We have an 8 year old lab/pit mix. She belonged to DH's best friends dad and when he passed away suddenly, we adopted her into our family. He had named her Sabian, which is a company that makes drum cymbals. He was a drummer if you hadn't guessed

We also have a chihuahua / weiner dog mix. Her name is Luna. We were scanning through a Spanish dictionary when we landed on it and it instantly took.

I mostly see "Jam" Bands, folk and reggae but i'm open to most music styles!

It's hard to pick a best concert, it's like picking my favorite child, lol! We've been seeing the band Umphrey's Mcgee since they were still a little local band here, needless to say we've seen them a lot. It's harder now that they are a bigger band but each of there shows is different and amazing!

My first Ani show was awesome, to be in the same room with that womyn, ahhh amazing!

Phish and the String Cheese Incident always make my feet heart and head happy!

I can't wait for the weather to warm up and to dance in the grass again!

As far as opening acts go, i was pleasantly suprised with Bitch and Animal they were a lot of fun!

Oooh I love Bitch!!

What was your first concert (that you remember anyway)?

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

How/why did you choose your username?

First concert I remember was a festival and the bands I can recall playing were : Peter Gabriel, Sinead O'Conner, Inner Circle, Crowded House and PM Dawn.

I was about 12 or 13 I believe, don't remember any thing specific about the music, but i did know that i LOVED it!

I wanted to be an astronaut, teacher, beautician, model, artist and a mama.

Mu username is pretty boring....blue has been my favorite color since i can remember having a favorite color and i've been drawn to butterflys for just as long
