Good luck Jenger!

Checking in! Frisbee, GL to you!!!

bfn today at 10 or 11 dpo. *sigh* Trying to count my blessings (1 beautiful dd and 1 beautiful ds), but, I am finding it harder and harder each month. Been ttc for about a yr with at least 6 cycles of perfectly timed bd.

Babydust to all

It's not over til it's over Kokopelli-mama! How long are your LPs usually? I checked back and found out I didn't get a bfp with my DD until 13dpo.

Jenger & milosmamma - ooh, they make backlit ones? I keep a flashlight by the bed and it's really annoying to have to turn it on to see the temp. Mine was from Rite Aid and it was supposed to have a memory but it always says "97.7" when you push the button. Found that out that hard way.

Tulpen - my LP is usually 14 or 15 days I think, so I've got a week or so. I might POAS at 10dpo just to see. I have a bunch of internet cheapie tests so testing early is very tempting.

kokopelli-mama- As Frisbee said, it's not over til it's over! Keep us updated! I'm still sending you sticky fertile vibes!

Okay, I bit the bullet and ordered a thermometer from Amazon. Of course this guarantees that I'll find one in a store tomorrow and then get pregnant in 2 weeks. I'd forgotten that I had a $5 gift cert for Amazon anyway, so it all worked out. Thanks for the suggestions! I never would have thought about the backlighting and temp memory.

So, who's POAS in the next few days. Anyone????

Well..Im back. I took a little break. Im on my second month with the CBE monitor. Got started with it two days too late the first month and got no egg, only high fertility. This month im on cd 14 with all high fertility and no eggs yet. I know it takes time to get used to your body. I think I might have been full on O part of yesterday and today(at least im hoping) Sometimes I worry that I havent been O'ing due to being overweight, age, and possible Pcos. We did the BD on cd 11 and 13.
*sigh* Heres hoping. It seems that everyone around me is all of a sudden pregnant.

Welcome back geek_the_girl! I hope some of those pregnant vibes rub off on you!
I'm here & grumpy on cd4, not knowing what to expect for this cycle. But I'm cheering for the rest of you!
I'm here & grumpy too, CD3 for me. I'm taking Clomid days 3-7 this time. I don't want a CD23 O day again .

I'm having cramps that are like contractions, and no sympathy from DH . Somedays I really hate men, ya know???

Good luck to those still waiting !!!
mamalove Sorry about those cramps. Hot baths and hot water bottles really saved me when I had excruciating cramps due to cysts when I was in my 20's.

geek the girl I am on my 1st cycle with the cbefm. CD 10 and still low. I just know it's going to ask for 20 sticks this cycle because I O late. I am temping as a back up because I know it takes a couple cycles to get to know you.

to us all!

I guess it's just a grumpy day for those of us early in our cycles. I'm tired and I would love to go back to bed for the rest of the day.

Mama~love- sorry about the cramps too. I also think heat helps a lot. I use a heating pad or a rice sock when I have bad cramps (luckily not very often).

geekthegirl- GL with the CBEFM. I think they are such interesting tools! I hope it gives you the egg this cycle!

kokopelli_mama- Lots of babydust to you! I hope AF stays away!

milosmomma- Glad you find a BBT online! I don't think you'd complain too much if you got pregnant this cycle and didn't need the BBT after all.
Grumpy here at 7dpo too. Tested this morning (stupid) and got a BFN (duh). Temps seem kind of low this LP aside from that one high one. I have a feeling I'm not pregnant. This week needs to hurry up and be over.

Today is definitely a grumpy day. Actually, this afternoon I finally felt an upswing from my grumpy 3 days.

Frisbee- Sorry about the BFN, but it's still early. How long are you going to wait to test again?

Tulpen88- LOL. No joke! If that's the case, I may have to pass my "lucky BBT" on! Sort of like when I bought my Diva Cup and then couldn't use it for 15 months.
Frisbee - 's! The wait is so hard.

I'm still grumpy, still feeling like crap. Just want to sit & knit with the heating pad on my belly.

Mama~Love - Sorry you're still feeling bad! Is it the clomid that does that? I hope it brings you an earlier O this cycle!

Milosmomma- Glad you got an upswing from the grumpiness yesterday. Any word on when your BBT will arrive? Funny that you mentioned the Diva cup. I was thinking about getting one next time AF comes. I almost bought one a couple of weeks ago, but decided to wait it out. Maybe I'll "splurge" and get one if I don't get pg this cycle.

Frisbee- Hang in there! You've still got time!

Me- I'm only on CD5 or something and in my mind I feel like I'm already out for this cycle. I haven't even gotten fertile CM yet, but I just feel like it's not going to happen. You can tell me to STFU, I don't mind. Maybe I'm just trying to protect myself from disappointment because I'm trying "harder" this cycle already. In addition to the acupuncture and B50 complex, I'm also trying to drink green tea every day. Also, I really, really, really plan to get to the gym and work out some more. I've been kind of lazy about that recently, but I can't let TTC stand in the way of my fitness.

Does anyone else here workout? Any runners? I ran my first half-marathon in November, but I haven't done much running since then (no more than 3-4 miles, at a time, probably). I really want to get back to running longer runs on the weekend again, just for fun. I miss that quiet time outside.

I'm tentatively chiming in. We're not not-trying at the moment. I'm not charting, but I'm, er, blessed with really, really obvious EWCM so I don't generally feel compelled to chart.

However, I would love to hear support from other women in their 30's about this...my cycle has always been 25 days. Every once in a while (like 2x/year) it went to 26 or 27 days. The last 3 months it's been 23, 23, and then 19 days! Ugh. I'm assuming that it's mostly stress. Hello WOHM part-time, part-time SAHM to a very active, very attached 3 year old, working at Kiddo's co-op preschool, and on the board of said preschool. But my doctor says it's the first sign of a dip in my fertility. Seriously? I'm 34!

I'm ovulating today, which is only day 7 of my cycle. I usually only get 14 days between ovulating and my period, so best guess I'll have a 21 day cycle this month. I'll do more research, but is that even long enough to get (and stay) pregnant?

Tulpen88- DO IT! That'll guarantee that you get pregnant....especially if you worry about the price and then debate with youself about it before you FINALLY decide to buy it!

Mama~Love I hope you feel better soon.

I don't call myself a runner, yet, but I am on Week 6, day 2 of the Couch to 5k. Who's that running writer who calls himself a penguin? Yeah, I'm about that speed. But I love having that time to focus on myself and my own fitness. What I really want to make more time for is weight lifting. I know it's so important to my health & fitness goals, but I just haven't made the time for it yet.

Howdy, fellow Bay Area mama!

How long or short your cycle is leading up to ovulation is FAR less important than how long your luteal phase is (the period between ovulation and your period). If you have 14 days, you are TOTALLY in the clear. You want to see a minimum of 10 days, and 12+ is much more reassuring.

BTW, do you only see EWCM for a day or so? Otherwise, how do you pinpoint that you're O'ing today?

IntrovertExtrovert-

I know you said that you're not REALLY trying, but if you'd like to be added to our list, let me know!

Thanks, that is helpful! I do usually only see EWCM for one day. It used to be consistently day 11 or occasionally 12 of my cycle, but last month it was day 5.
