Going back on BCP and nursing

DD is 19 months old. We still nurse 3 times a day on week-days and a bit more on week-ends.

I'm considering going back on the BCP at this point. I was on it for 14 years prior to conceiving DD and it worked really well for me (no oopsies at all). Post DD, I was on the mini-pill but didn't like it much (killed sex drive). I'm wondering if going back on the regular pill (I was on Triphasil) would screw with my milk supply at this point...however much of it is left!

Anyone?

Triphasil is on Dr. Hales avoid list. Have you tried other non-estrogen options?

Just that one progesterone only mini pill (can't remember the name)...Ah well, I guess I can wait a little while longer or see about an IUD (gah).
