I WOH full-time. DD attends daycare and has been doing so since she was 10 months old. We're switching from her small in-home daycare (with a max of 6 kids), which she has known since she was a baby, to a large private educational daycare next Monday. I had discussed the integration process with the daycare director and she suggested we could help them by staying with DD for a while the first few days, leaving her there for longer and longer stretches. I was counting on my semi-retired father to do this for me, as I am quickly running out of personal days at work, but my grandmother just passed away this morning and he'll be leaving the country to attend her funeral. So, I'm going to have to do this myself and can only take 2 half days off from work.
Any suggestions on how to help DD (19 months) integrate her new daycare?
TIA
