Preschooler forum? - Page 2

Me too! Funny, tonight I was just scouring the site looking for a preschool forum. I would so love this!

Any news or thoughts on this possibility?

I still think it is a wonderful idea. I'm not fitting into the Toddler forum or the Childhood Years forum currently and would love a suitable place to "hang out."

I was just going to post the same question...DD just turned 3yrs and was looking into this again when some birthday questions arose. No where for us to go....
I was thinking maybe this was going to happen since there was lots of interest??

Another vote here. DD doesn't quite fit in childhood years, and I've even been told that once when asking a question.

I'd love a preschooler forum as well!

Yay!

It's definitely needed. Lots of the same sorts of posts about preschoolers end up in both Toddlers and The Childhood Years.

: And where else would you post questions about an almost 4yo?? It's not like she's a toddler, and she's certainly not a baby or a teen.

What a shame...if users are going to do that, than there should definitely be a forum where people won´t be told their questions are "in the wrong place."

I agree as well! I have to scour both forums for posts that a relevant to the age frame...I also find myself posting less.

I think this is a very needed addition to the A&S Forum! My DS1 falls into this age range and I find myself not posting stuff because I am not sure where to put it.

But I am wondering if it could/should be called something other than "Preschooler Forum?" Lots of mamas on here either unschool or home school/home educate their kiddos.

I think something like "Early Childhood Years" (or something more creative than I can come up with at the moment) might be a more appropriate title.

Just my 2 cents.

That is a very good point and a very good idea.

Add my vote for an Early Childhood forum.

I think that would also make people with older children feel more comfortable posting about their school aged (esp older elementary kids) in Childhood Years.
