Herbal pain killers

Thread Starter
I'm hoping someone has the answer for me. I've been looking into herbal pain killers for after my next birth, to help with after pains. I can't take aspirin or ibuprofen due to a stomach infection and multiple esophageal ulcers. I'm also having a hard time finding an herbal remedy that isn't contraindicated to ulcers.

I don't know much about herbal remedies, so I'm hoping someone can direct me to the right source, or a way to figure it out. I really would appreciate it so much.

while there are indeed several herbs to look into, I would start by suggesting magnesium. Honestly, it's the best thing I could suggest to anyone for afterpains for SO many reasons. I love naturalcalm and think it's essential to have at any birth.

Homeopathic arnica after giving birth did wonders for me.

If it were me, I'd have on hand some Birth Heal and some Propartum Drops.

arnica is amazing, but doesn't generally do so much for afterpains as the uterus clamps down. Mag phos would be a better bet...but for my money I'd say magnesium is ever better!

That said, I'd always always always have arnica on hand for childbirth. You'll be suprised how fast you recover in terms of muscles/tissue strain and stress.
