Does this mean I can expect an early hysterectomy?

I'm hoping this is the right place to post this...

I have been pregnant and nursing for ... almost 4 years, and just getting a regular period back. I have used tampons before, but almost always the ones that open like a flower. So, I have been using them again lately, the ones that open kind of into a square, and the past two I have used have gotten stuck. It hurt so horribly, I will spare the details of removing. But basically pulling skin with it. After my first child I was told my uterus was low, haven't had any kind of. inspection. down there since...

my mom had a hysterectomy at about.... 37-38? and said it was a problem she ignored for years before having it fixed. Im 25..... in typing this I'm deciding that this is something I need to be concerned about....

Does any one have some suggestions for keeping myself heathy in this area?
I guess Im going to step it up on the keagals (sp...), for some reason they are hard for me... anything else???

thanks!

Don't use tampons,, use a pad ! That is obvious. Are you having any other pain or symptons? Is your uterus protruding through the cervical opening? Have you been checked? If all is normal doing kegals is great. My uterus is giving me a world of trouble because I am going through menopause, but I am bound and determined to keep it, because it is a very useful organ, it holds other organs in place, etc. and as long as it does not prolapse too much or is cancerous, I am holding on to it. Just my opinion. I have known so many women who have had the surgery done, for silly reasons, not life threatning, because the doctor said it was for the best, since they were done with having kids, etc. who are now suffering from bladder problems, etc.

My mom had hers taken out because it was prolapsing, I guess is the term. It was falling out. I haven't looked into other symptoms, I guess I should. I've been having strange pains, sharp, low on my left side. Other than that, just general pains of feeling like things aren't in their right place, also having to do I think with really needing to get a spinal adjustment.
