New thread!

This is the place to be to hold yourself accountable for eating at home instead of out. And also to be inspired by everyone's menus!

Everything cooked at home is vegan.. lunch is usually FFY and/or leftovers

1. (School night) Lentils with Spinach with rice (Ate Lunch Out for my little brother's birthday)

I'm in. I kind of fizzled last month, but I want to do better in March!

1. leftover roast with pepper, onions and cream cheese. Kind of a fajita/philly cheese steak combo if you will.
2. Baked trout, quinoa pilaf, salad

I know we'll be eating out more this month since we're going on vacation, but I'm going to do this anyway and hopefully we'll do better the rest of the month.

1-dinner at my mom's

This will be my first time doing this. Lets see if I remember to post everything that we have. LOL (W) means it was a work day for me so those days are usually pretty easy as I work 10 hrs days and last thing I want to do is cook a bunch.


1.(W) Zatarains Jambalaya pasta dinner with with 1 smoked sausage link sliced
2. Brown Rice Meatloaf with mixed veggies (frzn)
3. (W) Ragu alfredo jarred sauce with bow-ties and chopped baked chix tenderloins
4. Pork loin baked in lime marinade, green beans, feather bread rolls that I forgot to add the salt to :/ LOL
5. Eggs scrambled with onions,red bell peppers sprinkled with cheese
6. Popeyes :X (were both sick and we were hungry)
7. Publix subs :X (same as above)
8. Mac & cheese for me and boys (DH had leftover Publix sub)

Okay, we're on a budget so I'm in for this month. Could also really use more ideas:

3/1 - ate chicken and beer & tagine from our freezer stash of meals
3/2 - pork chops with apples, onions, bourbon sauce with orzo

We did an excellent job last month eating what was in the house

1.) Roast Chicken, Brussel Sprouts, Ginger Carrots for lunch and Hummus and Chips, honey popsicles for dinner
2.) Left over Roast Chicken, baked potatoes, and brussel sprouts (DP/DS lunch $9)
3.) (DP and DS away) - left over chicken, ginger carrots, brussel sprouts

I did really well last month(ate out x2ish!) but slaked on posting at the end

I'll try and do better posting this month

We eat vegan at home. Im also gluten free for lent. The very occasional egg might make an appearence

Doing well so far, just one lunch out on 3/4. Bartered homemade mead for some deer meat this week.

Dinners:
3/1 Bean green chili burritos
3/2 bbq wings and salad
3/3 tomato soup and grilled cheese
3/4 blackened tilapia, potatoes, broccoli
3/5 roast chicken, peas and carrots
3/6 spaghetti w meat sauce and salad
3/7 grilled chicken, apple-walnut salad
3/8 Chicken stir fry
3/9 bbq wings and homemade veggie pizza
planned:
3/10 soup, bread
3/11 Parmesan tilapia, carrots, rice
3/12 Burritos
3/13 Venison burgers, salad

There was a lack of planning last month but we ended up eating from the pantry anyway. I'm going to try to keep at it this month.

1. smoked sausage, homemade macaroni and cheese, peas
2. salad and pizza
3. leftover spaghetti and meatballs

I like that, LizzQ! Same here! My husband isn't vegan, but my boys and I are so we tend to eat on leftovers for quite a while!

1. Spaghetti with french green lentils and shredded zucchini in the sauce and a homemade roll (we bake them halfway and then freeze them for quick 'fresh' bread in the evenings)
2. Couscous with mixed veggies, brown lentils, sunflower seeds, and a homemade roll

I'm going to try to do this in March(and in the future hopefully). Dh was laid off this week, so we need to lower the budget and eat from the pantry and freezer.

1- Chinese Take-Out
2- Quick Zesty Chili with rice and tortilla strips
3- Chicken Sandwiches, Baked Fries

Planned:
4- Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli and Pesto, chopped salads, garlic toasts
5- Slow Cooker Beef Tips, Rice, Sauteed zucchini, Rolls
6- Grilled Cheese and Minestrone Soup (Slow cooker)
7- Chicken Spaghetti, Salad, Green beans

I'm in again. We pretty much fell of the wagon last month but hoping to do better this month.

I'm in this month. Gonna try to stick with it and keep posting and gleaning ideas from the thread.

*** We have a bunch of frozen ground moosemeat to use up, so my frewuent/many ground beef meals are actually moose.

1. Pancakes and smoothies
2. Brown Sugar Meatloaf (love this recipe! I double it and cut the brown sugar and ketchup in half, add oats, garlic...) steamed corn, salad.
3. DH and the kids had Papa Murphy's Pizza, I went out for Teppanyaki with a friend.
4. Planning burritos.
5. Planning Porcupine Meatballs
