I'm going to try to do this in March(and in the future hopefully). Dh was laid off this week, so we need to lower the budget and eat from the pantry and freezer.

I changed the meal plan a few days this week from the original plan but we are still eating in with no ordering out!
1- Chinese Take-Out
2- Quick Zesty Chili with rice and tortilla strips
3- Chicken Sandwiches, Baked Fries
4- Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli and Pesto, chopped salads, garlic toasts
5- Spaghetti with meat sauce, salad,
6- FFY (I had a turkey burger, DH and children had mac and cheese)
7- Broiled Sirloin, Baked Potatoes, Green Beans
8- Slow Cooker Beef Tips, Rice, Corn, Butter Beans, Cornbread
9- Chicken Spaghetti, Salad, Green beans
10-Red pepper and Parmesan Tilapia, Red Bell Pepper and Zucchini Couscous, Lemon-Garlic Broccoli
11-Cajun Yellow Rice Skillet with shrimp and smoked sausage, lemon pepper broccoli, ciabatta garlic rolls
12-Tostadas(with ground turkey and green chilies), chips, salsa
13- Brats, baked fries, baked beans (I work 12 hour shift so DH cooks)
14- Hamburger Stroganoff, sweet peas, corn muffins, salad (another 12 hour shift for me)
15- Subway (long day)
16- Chinese Takeout (OOPS!)
17- Oven fried pork chops, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, spicy collard greens

Planned:
18- leftovers

I have a bunch of stuff soaking(beans, oats, nuts we are tf) and a roast cooking right now and I think what I decided is that I just need to start soaking stuff and pull stuff out of the freezer without necessarily an idea in mind. Otherwise, there will be nothing to eat! Also I think it would be helpful to have an idea in mind of different types of dinners, like soup one night, stir fry one nice, italian, mexican, and so on. And maybe at the beginning of the week make up a bunch of beans and a roast or a chicken. That way I have lots of options for the week. Ok those were just my personal notes so I don't forget!
