snow~pea, yay for working out! and don't tell me I'm 12 dpo, timing would be non-existent in that case actually my temps have really fluctuated this cycle, I know I slept with my mouth open yesterday but still. I ran out of thyroid meds and am stalling going back to get blood drawn because last time all kinds of issues were found with my blood and I now have a scar on my back FOREVER just to find out that nothing's really wrong. ugh. so, yeah, either new doctor or just sucking it up over there, but I do need to get the meds.

should we do a short re-introduction in case any lurkers want to speak up and get to know us? long threads are sometimes difficult to get into and since this one is fresh and new?

Mind if I join in? I've been vegan 8 years and vegetarian 16 years (since I was 12). I've been married to my vegan husband since 03 and we have three beautiful babies and hope to add to that number this year!

4.5 year old boy (so full of smiles and impresses me daily with his thoughtfulness)
(would've been) 3 year old girl (our little angel girl, keeps our lives in perspective and desperately missed)
almost 2 year old boy (our rainbow baby, so smart and with a laugh to break even the darkest mood)

I'm on my 3rd cycle since having the baby and have excrutiatingly long cycles (pretty sure that's the only time I'll tell people that in my introduction to them LOL) and am still nursing my littlest, but he seems to be on the road to self-weaning (down to bedtime only- bittersweet!) so maybe my temps will stabilize (I'm off today to buy a BBT to replace my digital). I'm using the CBEFM but having to trick it since my cycles are too long for it

I'm so excited to have some fellow vegan mamas to talk life over with. Around here, most people ask where that is when you say you're vegan

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

:bump

good morning vegans! I'm pretty sure I'm out for this cycle, temps dropping again. at least I won't have to deal with the first day period pains tomorrow when my friends come over... what are you all doing this weekend?
I'm sorry, oceane

I'm on CD 7 but don't expect to ovulate for weeks and weeks. I'm using the CBEFM so I can help confirm my chart, which tends to be rocky (I'm still nursing).

This weekend I'm hoping for sun and warmish weather- the first in a long time!

nice temp rise, snow~pea!

oceane, I'm so sorry.

It seems I have ovulated on my own this cycle, without the clomid. Thats a nice surprise I guess. Timing is not great because we weren't trying too hard. bd on cd11, 13, & 18. I am guessing O on cd18 or 19.

theirmommy, good luck with the cbefm!

bringing us back from the depths of ttc (page 3! lol). how is everyone?
Impatiently waiting to ovulate here! My DS is only nursing once a day now so when he weans, I'm going to give acupuncture a shot to shorten my cycles. Hopefully this cycle will work and I won't need to!

How's everyone else?

I'm so sorry snow sending you all the fertile thoughts for next cycle that I can muster!

my advice is to not watch "away we go" right now because I did on Friday and cried when the credits started rolling. seriously, that soundtrack! poor husband didn't know what was happening it's a good movie if you're in a better place though.
I could not get into my doctor's for a thyroid check before late March, and since I'm out of meds this cycle is bound to be a bust.

hi somegirl and theirmommy!

Thanks for the support ladies, what would I do without this group?

And thanks for the heads up oceane, I will avoid that movie, lol. But tv here is so baby-sentric anyway, I really can't avoid it all together. on every channel its baby this and baby that, even shows about teenagers being knocked up. Which I am obliged to watch because I just can't look away from a good train wreck . I'm sorry you couldn't get in to see your doc sooner, can't he call in a refill just to get you thru til your appointment?

probably not because they'll want to check blood levels first. it's my fault really as I didn't go in earlier. I had a lot on my plate here, plus I've been on meds and still didn't get pregnant so I guess I was tired of it. not the smartest move maybe...

how do you get yourselves to eat healthy planned meals to make sure you get all your nutrients? i'm struggling with iron specifically, and also calcium. I take supplements and use calcium-enriched soy yogurt or oatmilk, but I still think it's not enough. do you have meal plans ladies?
I track my food/nutrient intake and have been taking my vegan prenatals for over 6 years straight. Calcium is what I struggle with the most. Lucky for me, my hubby is an amazing vegan cook!
