Gluten-Free Vegetarians/Vegans?

I'm looking for some ideas/support. I have been dairy free for about a month now, but after doing some research started wondering if it would be helpful to eliminate gluten as well. So, I started doing GF two days ago and I'm blown away by the early effects. I have not felt this comfortable in my body for a very very long time. Now, granted, this might be a sort of placebo effect. I didn't feel this way after eliminating dairy. But two days off gluten and wow! Just wow!

I feel comfortable, peaceful. It's hard to explain. I feel energetic, clear-headed. I have no cravings, I dont feel like I need to chase one thing I eat with something else, and then something else. I don't have a wierd taste in my mouth. I have absolutely no GI symptoms. In short, I feel well for the first time in a long time.

I guess I'm wondering if others have experienced such dramatic early results, and if it's possible that gluten has been at the core of "what ails me" for as long as I can remember.
