Is this chicken good?

I bought a package of chicken drumsticks and have had them in the fridge. I meant to do something with them, but haven't yet. The freeze by, use by date was yesterday. The look okay. I haven't opened it yet to make sure they don't smell funky. I hate to throw them away. If they smell alright, is it okay to use them? What is the best way to use them?

I find raw meat is obvious. and the sell by date often has nothing to with it. If they smell fine, try it. if they smell gross, don't.
