... I have a BUNCH of boiling questions.
I have some new hemp diapers I want to boil to prep. Is this okay to do? Will it reduce the number of times they need to be washed? How long do I boil for? I only have a 6 qt pot, does that matter?
Also, I have a new Disana wool cover. I ordered it too big on purpose so I can felt it. I've heard of boiled wool. Can I boil it? Will it ruin the elasticized cuffs? If I just wash it I'll have to wash it by hand and won't be able to dry it (DH does NOT want to try felting at the laundromat. He remembers keenly my late angora sweater
). Will it still work?
PUL??? I've heard hot temps reseal the PUL. I also could swear I saw a post on here once (can't find it now) where someone talked about boiling their PUL. Can you really do that?
Thanks!
