sophie the giraffe? - Page 3

I had to write because I bought this Sophie only because I read about it in this thread...Another big thumbs up for Sophie!
My 4 month old is a major chewer and teether so I ordered Sophie and she can manipulate it with ease and especially loves the hooves and legs!
I really wasn't impressed when I opened the box but now I am glad to have spent a little extra!

DS really likes Sophie too. No matter what part of her he bites on, there seems to be something to chew on. She IS expensive though! We got her as a shower gift, thankfully.

We have a Sohpie also. She's DS's favourite car toy.
She smells like a tire and squeeks like a dog toy, but he seems to like her.

My 8-month-old loves her Sophie. She was an early teether, and this has always helped. There is a funny smell at first, but it didn't seem to bother DD & it eventually faded.

another pro-Sophie vote here. My LO still loves her at 8 months and has since she was about 3 months old.

Hmmm. I resisted the Sophie urge for a looong time. But this post just made me cave. Cant wait to get her!

My DS likes Sophie some of the time, but he's so-so about rubber teethers in general. What's funny, though, is when we go to LLL meetings; the toddlers there LOVE to run off with her. There's just something about this toy, I guess.

My 4 mo dd loves her Sophie. We too received her as a gift, she is expensive. No latex allergies here thank goodness -- we also have a latex mattress!

Sophie Rocks!!

I bought Sophie from Amazon to round up an order so I could get free shipping.

The first time my 10 month old daughter saw her, she smiled from ear to ear and loves to play with her. She does squeak though, so not really appropriate for church or other places squeak toys shouldn't be heard.

My son loves it too after getting it from grandma. I think it sounds a little like a dog toy which bothers me, but he has had no problems with the allergy. I wonder if they use synthetic rubber in latex gloves? We just bought a organic mattress made out of natural rubber and the rubber has to be shipped from like Thailand where they grow rubber trees. Hence the price of Sophie.
