Nursing and Morning Sickness

DS2 is 14 months and I'm 6 weeks pregnant. With DS1 and DS2 the only thing that helped with morning sickness was Unisom. I was sick the whole pregnancy with DS1 and 20 or so weeks with DS2. Without the unisom, I was throwing up all day and couldn't do much.

The nausea started around 4.5 weeks and yesterday got really bad. I don't want to wean, but really feel like I need to be able to take care of the kids.

So anything else that I can take ad nurse?

I had morning sickness with both of mine, never took the prescription I got though ... BUT I found some accupuncture bracelets for nausea and they really worked. I was able to function.
I know it sounds cheesy, but maybe try something like that before you wean?

Good luck!

i'm not sure if this is the same thing the PP is describing, but i wore seabands which seemed to help. i also stopped nursing 24/7 and that went a long way in helping my morning sickness. i felt terrible doing this, but cutting back to about 4-5 nursing sessions a day helped as well. ds1 was 15 months at the time.
also, i swear i've heard on here that some moms have taken unisom and have continued to nurse. or maybe it was something else... maybe something to talk to your care provider about?
anyway, hope you feel better sooner than later.
