I have been waffling back and forth all year about pulling DS out of school and HSing. Then I got pregnant and I planned to finish out the year, start him in school next year and if it wasn't any better (i think a lot of his issues surround his current teacher) pulling him out in say Oct/Nov and homeschool.
My question is, if I pulled him out now with the intention of keeping him out and homeschooling would I HAVE to homeschool this year or could I just start next year? Compulsory age is 7 in Maine, he will be 7 in June. If I pulled him out and homeschooled him for the rest of the year how I would document that with the state, like how i finished his year? And could I put him in 2nd grade next year if I so chose?
