So I've been searching online for a kit to buy and apparently there's only one brand available and they're all sold out... anyone know of where I can find the supplies myself?

YOu don't need one.
Get you some capsules, size 00 from a health food/herbal store.
Then you just need to be able to steam the placenta and then dehydrate it. If you don't have a dehydrator you can use your own on the lowest setting. Then you need to grind it with a food processor or coffee bean grinder.
That's it!

Along the same lines - did anyone find any benefit from doing this last time? I just froze the placenta and broke off chunks and threw it into a smoothie (with some frozen strawberry so I wouldn't be too aware of what I was eating). I had zero baby blues compared to my first postpartum (with some real depression). I want to do it again, but I know I'd be more likely to do it daily if I encapsulated it. I just have a hard time thinking the hormones and benefits will be the same after so much processing.
