lip blister?

dd has a white blister right smack in the middle of her top lip. it's sort of half in and half out. it just appeared today and doesn't seem to bother her when i press on it.

all i could find online is nursing blisters, but it says they usually occur between birth and 6 months. dd is over 7 mo... so, is that still likely what it is? why would she just get one now? anyone else's lo had this?

Yes, it's a sucking blister. My son got those I think much older than 6mo.

any time they suck that lip in that happens no matter the age. Cutting new teeth can cause it because it can change he suck.

my dd is going to be 9 months next week and she gets these all the time.
She never notices them and I seem more bothered by them than she does. I have to resist the urge to pull the little flap of skin off after it pops or whatever it does

DS is 10.5 mos & still gets them. I would think they'd be able to get them at any age that they're still sucking a lot or nursing.
