have your tried diapering backwards?

I don't know what to search for to see if someone else has posted this silly question. So,....

DD is insistent on being on her tummy when I'm changing her. We use pocket diapers. I was wondering, anyone ever try putting one of those on backwards, snaps on the back. DH says, "I don't think that works," but I don't know, maybe. Anyone?

I think it would be bulkier between her legs, but not impossible. What if you just presnapped it and pulled it on like underwear?

hehe I have never though of that! Not sure if it would work - but try and see!
I stand my DS up and diaper while he is standing. Snaps are harder to do, but velcro isn't too bad. Or I give him something he is not allowed to have (ex: his sisters stuffed animals) while I change him. Keeps him still for a moment.

I can tell you from experience that it's fine, esp with BGOS type diapers. DH always manages to put them on backwards (how? how? velcro goes in the FRONT, why is that so hard?) and we don't have leaks.

The only way I've done "backwards" diapering is with prefolds. Pinned in the back. Works better than pinned in the front, frankly.
