I wish mine had a proper place like that.

Another idea, is to rip out the the back, an upholster the shelf. Then I would move it in front of a window, to create a little reading/window seat for the wee ones.




I was actually saving up my own corks for that, but then I found a knitting pattern to turn corks into little gnomes... and I did.
