Sortof - The fliloque was added/invented during the 3rd council of Toledo in 589 and only adopted in Rome itself in 1014. So the addition was actually made by the Bishop of Seville alone, and poorly resisted in the Latin-literate West.

I'm glad this thread is active again. I might have a question to ask if I can find a minute to get my thougts together.

Hey Arduinna,

I found myself wondering today how your class was coming along?

We haven't been going. We went to the Orthodox Church once and haven't gone back. I've had a bunch of stuff going on including my mom visiting for a week ( we don't really get along so that was stressful). But I've been doing more reading. I realized some mistakes I've been making, like the fact that I can't learn the Catholic view of Papal infallibility by reading the Orthodox Churches view of it so I'm going back and trying to dig deeper into the Catholic understanding of it.
