Worth it to invest in a Scootababy?

I use my Maya wrap daily in a hip carry or backhip carry when I need to use both hands. The DD has gotten quite heavy on me now and I'm considering buying a scootababy. Does it really distribute the weight better? I'd really like to be able to carry her on my hip so we can look at things together.

I have a beco but I can't share and point to things and watch her sign responses in a back carry. I'm looking for a good hip carrier.

no one has ideas either way?

A scootababy will definately distribute her weight more comfortably than a ring sling as she grows. Everything about it is designed for supporting heavier babies and toddlers. and even though it's a hip carrier, you also have good control about using it more to the front or more to the back if you wish.

i am planning on getting a scootababy with our tax return money - i have heard amazing things about them - the reviews at the babywearer are awesome - and everyone here has said great things about them - i am hoping it will be worth it - can't wait!!!
