ttc again?

anyone want to get pregnant again? baby is 6 wks old and don't know if i just kinda miss being pregnant now that it's finally over or if i really do want to have another baby already

We are leaning toward not preventing cause we'd like one more and I'd rather have him/her sooner than later. But with breastfeeding I still expect and probably need a 8-ish month break before AF returns.

yep, i'm ovulating this weekend and i dont plan on using a rubber. if i do get pg i plan on pumping a ton so she has milk if i dry up

Umm, no but good for you all for having the stamina. I don't even want to think about another baby and either does DH (which is a first LOL)

I am so ready to TTC, but I have fertility issues and for me to TTC would mean evil drugs and I would have to stop breastfeeding, so if it happens on it's own, which is unlikely, but stranger things have happened, we'll be so happy!

Is that possible with the pumping?

I hope that doesn't sound challenging, I am really curious. I definitely feel like our family isn't complete yet, but wouldn't want to have to offer formula. I'm also afraid that I'd need to wean at some point, because last time breastfeeding started some major preterm worries around 32 weeks, so I weaned.

The current plan is to wait a year, though we aren't preventing. My fertility didn't return until well after a year last time.

well we'll see. i know a lot of people bf while pg. hopefully i dont have any issues but if it came down toit i would likely use donated milk over formula. i have a lot of bfing friends.

Right now, no. Actually I don't ever see us "trying" again, but I am not ready to say nope not ever. Marissa is a wonderful "oops", and I could definitely handle one more "oops", but I don't think DH is on board for that, so probably not.

Nope - we are so done. Of course I would LOVE another baby, but dh and I decided we weren't having anymore and he had the big V just before I found out I was pregnant. It is funny because at the time I was so okay with him getting the vasectomy and was so devastated when I found out I was pregnant, but now that I know another baby isn't possible I am a little sad.

Hard to explain because I don't ever want to be pregnant again because it was so hard, but yet I miss being pregnant. Plus it does help that I have many children and all.

is there any way to get your fertility back a little bit earlier?

DH and I are talking crazy talk, and I have said NO more babies after 40...he's asked if we can squeeze another one in before that.

dunno how I feel about that, but right now it isn't an option. With DD1 and DS I didn't get my period back until 2-3mos after weaning...and I definitely wouldn't wean in order to get my period back.
